THE WARRANT

First the evidence. Then the Warrant.

A Warrant is a performance-linked commercial model for eligible work. It is considered only after the metric, baseline, controllability, economics, and terms have been established.

The Warrant The Warrent Mobile

Before a Warrant is written.

A defined KPI with a reliable source, an agreed baseline, and enough operational control to make accountability meaningful. If the metric cannot be measured or materially influenced, it cannot be warranted.

We reconcile the metric, agree the baseline and guardrails, and establish how much of the outcome the work can reasonably influence. The intervention, dependencies, movement, and limitations are then documented in a written verdict. During this stage, outcomes are measured, not guaranteed.

Diagnostic, project, and ongoing work use agreed fixed or retainer terms. If the work qualifies for a Warrant, any performance-linked fee is separately modelled, capped, and documented in an approved schedule.

Both sides agree the KPI definition, source, formula, period, guardrails, dependencies, and known limitations before the work begins. The same baseline is used in the final written verdict.

Access to relevant data, a named decision-maker, owners for key dependencies, and clarity about what the operation can control. If the evidence is not ready, the measurement foundation is established before any larger commitment is made.
